Giữa những thương hiệu công nghệ nổi tiếng có sản xuất máy trạm thì Dell vẫn là “cái tên” uy tín cả về độ bền bỉ, tính ổn định cũng như cấu hình “build” sẵn đa dạng tối ưu theo từng loại hình công việc chuyên biệt.
Phiên bản mới nhất dòng máy trạm “workstation” T3000 của Dell vừa ra mắt với tên gọi Precision 3650 Tower sử dụng chip thế hệ thứ 11 mới nhất được kỳ vọng mang đến những trải nghiệm đáng giá hơn, xứng đáng là cỗ máy kiếm tiền “đáng đồng tiền bát gạo”.
Thiết kế sang trọng, khoa học
Precision 3650 Tower mang màu sắc đen huyền bí chủ đạo, logo Dell mạ kim loại sắc nét, toát lên tổng thể sang trọng và lịch lãm quen thuộc của dòng máy trạm.
Chiếm phần lớn diện tích mặt trước của máy là phần khung lưới thiết kế dạng tổ ong cho hoạt động tản nhiệt tối đa, đem lại sự thông thoáng cần thiết khi tải nặng, đảm bảo máy hoạt động liên tục vẫn trơn tru và giữ cho linh kiện bên trong được bền bỉ theo thời gian.
Không có nhiều thay đổi trong thiết kế, có lẽ bởi đây đã là một thiết kế tối ưu nhất. T3650 vẫn là chiếc máy trạm nhỏ gọn theo xu hướng tối giản giúp tiết kiệm không gian, ưu tiên bố trí khoa học những phần cứng thiết yếu như các cổng kết nối phổ biến USB, type-C, ổ đĩa đọc dữ liệu phục vụ công việc. Một điểm cộng nữa là thiết kế hai lẫy khóa gạt trên các dòng máy trạm workstation đồng bộ của Dell giúp mở thùng máy đơn giản, lắp đặt nhẹ nhàng mà không cần ốc vít.
Cấu hình mạnh mẽ, chuyên biệt cho từng công việc
Sở hữu cấu hình ấn tượng với hai tùy chọn vi xử lý Intel Core i lên đến i9 thế hệ thứ 11 mới nhất và Intel Xeon W-1300 Series chuyên dụng cho máy trạm cùng nhiều lựa chọn về card đồ họa từ các dòng cơ bản đến cao cấp của AMD và NVIDIA. Cấu hình “build” chuyên biệt hướng đến khách hàng làm việc chuyên nghiệp yêu cầu tác vụ nặng về tính toán và xử lý đồ họa.
Vậy mục đích của nhà sản xuất khi đưa ra hai tuỳ chọn CPU là gì? Câu trả lời đó là tối ưu hiệu suất phù hợp cho từng nhu cầu và loại hình công việc, từ đó tối ưu về chi phí đầu tư của người dùng.
Điều đầu tiên chúng ta khẳng định rằng, sử dụng “workstation” đúng theo tên gọi của nó là để làm việc, hay chính xác hơn là dùng cho công việc kiếm ra tiền, đó là sự khác biệt giữa máy trạm với máy tính PC thông thường. Những công việc đó có thể là thiết kế đồ hoạ, kiến trúc xây dựng, dựng phim ảnh chuyên nghiệp, mô phỏng 2D-3D, …
Dù là công việc gì thì bạn cũng sẽ cần quan tâm CPU có đáp ứng được nhu cầu của mình không? Nếu bạn ưu tiên tốc độ và xung nhịp thì có thể chọn Core i, cụ thể trên T3650 là i7-11700. Với con chip “khủng long” này thì mọi tác vụ nặng không phải là thử thách khó khăn.
Ví dụ đối với render cho trải nghiệm cực nhanh và mượt, giúp tiết kiệm tối đa thời gian. Vì là con chip mới nhất và cực kỳ mạnh mẽ, nên cấu hình này cũng có giá thành cao hơn dòng workstation phổ thông.
Người dùng có thể tham khảo một số cấu hình lựa chọn gồm CPU Core i7-11700 đi kèm card đồ hoạ Nvidia Quadro M2000, T600, P2000, M4000 có giá tham khảo từ khoảng 30 triệu đến hơn 40 triệu đồng.
Như đã nói ở trên, nếu nhu cầu của bạn ưu tiên tiết kiệm thời gian và tốc độ nhanh thì Core i sẽ tối ưu. Tuy nhiên, trong một số công việc đặc thù như dựng phim trên Premiere Pro với dung lượng dữ liệu hàng chục TB thì CPU Xeon W chuyên dụng cho workstation có lẽ là đáng cân nhắc.
Mặc dù Xeon cho tốc độ chậm hơn nhưng khi máy phải render hàng chục tiếng đồng hồ thì Xeon cho độ ổn định và an toàn dữ liệu đảm bảo hơn, tránh hiện tượng giật “lag”. Để đầu tư cho cỗ máy workstation mục đích làm việc kiếm tiền, chắc hẳn bạn sẽ ưu tiên việc kiểm soát an toàn dữ liệu và đảm bảo deadline.
Intel Xeon là con chip đáng tin cậy trong trường hợp này. Cấu hình CPU Xeon W-1350 đi kèm hai lựa chọn về card đồ hoạ là Intel Integrated Graphics hoặc Nvidia Quadro P620 giúp người dùng tối ưu chi phí theo nhu cầu.
